Introducing a different kind of planner...
Book of Lift is a daily, four-month ‘planner’ that helps you stay productive and motivated…
… even if you hate planning.
“I’ve been using this for a few weeks and it’s paying dividends!”
—Wendy Dixon-Whiley - Artist
As a writer and illustrator, I was frustrated with my lack of productivity and focus.
I needed a way to procrastinate less and have more clarity.
I found other planners were too complicated and required too much of my time. So I tried to figure out how to do it my own way.
By asking the right, focusing questions each day, I was more easily able to succeed in what mattered to me the most, including reaching my goals, growing my network, and becoming more confident.
Owing to popular demand for the simple daily questions I created for myself, I made this book to help others do the same.
“Not long ago, I was at a point where my life could be described as pretty average. Things were ok, but it felt like I was running on a hamster wheel …”

Spending five minutes a day answering
the daily questions will LIFT your…
Q: What will I make happen within 5 years…1 year…1 month…
Q: What three tasks must get done today?
Weekly Q: What will I make happen within 7 days?
These questions will help you find your focus again by revealing what is most important to you. You are encouraged to think of the single most important answer - to cut through the fluff.
They’re included so that you can see the bigger picture, and have those longer term goals inform what you do right down to this second.
Q: What must get done today that develops my main craft?
Q: What will I do today to expand my extra-curricular world?
Weekly Q: What 3 lessons did I learn this week?
Maintaining and expanding on our key skills is vital for staying valuable and fulfilled.
These questions keep you learning and growing in the areas that you’re passionate about.
Q: Who will I contact today to generate opportunities and good will?
Q: What was yesterday’s key inch? (Key stat)
Weekly Q: How much money have I earned this week?
Reaching out to people and keeping track of your vital numbers will ensure your business and career continues to succeed and grow.
These are examples of daily questions that help grow your business. The Book of Lift also encourages you to monitor your income and your big wins at the end of each week.
Q: What will I do to start this day positively?
Q: What will I do today that scares me?
Q: What will I do today to benefit my health?
These questions prompt you to do things that develop character, and boost your well-being.
One of the things that sets this planner apart is its focus on building confidence through real-world challenges.
Clearly, these questions are not complicated. What is important is that you write down your answers every day as a habit.
When you do, you will have a list in front of you that shows you exactly how best to spend your day, with time left over.
Time needed to answer all questions.
"The art and science of asking questions is the source of all knowledge.”

I’ve been using this list for a few weeks and it’s paying dividends!
I’ve pushed along a commission that was stalling at the client end, and there have been other wins as well. It’s great to have that daily reminder of what’s important now; this month; five years, etc.
A great tool!

These are the questions that have helped me the most in living a fulfilled and motivated life, besides the key daily questions.
At the back of the planner, I’ve included a tear-out contact list (can be added to other planners in the back pocket) that comes in useful for building your key contact list, and keeping in touch with people in your network.

I really love this because, unlike a regular to-do list, it pushes me to actually get better everyday and try things outside my comfort zone.
Sally Vanderpump, Jewellery Designer
I absolutely love it. I love the simplicity and find it encouraging because it reminded me every day that I achieved something the day before. Being given a nudge to set targets is so helpful.
